DJ Ferguson, PhD

My name is D.J. Ferguson and I manage the Protein Expression and Purification Core at GRI. I am a full-time Research Scientist at the Genome Research Institute at the University of Cincinnati. I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Raymond Walters College branch of the University of Cincinnati where I teach microbiology. I received my B.S. degree in biology from Virginia Tech in 1992 and my Ph.D. in microbiology from The Ohio State University in 2000. I worked as a post-doctoral associate at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati for three years before becoming a research scientist in the Proteomics Core at GRI in 2003. I was selected to manage the Protein Expression and Purification core in 2004.
