Research - Nutrition and Behavior

In the study of obesity, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders, many Metabolic Diseases Institute scientists explore the complex physiological feedback networks that link metabolism, nutrition, and behavior. This work is facilitated by the department of psychiatry-based Behavior Core at the Metabolic Diseases Institute. This facility offers a range of rat and mouse behavioral assays relating to metabolism, activity, and ingestion along with help in the design, execution, analysis, presentation, and interpretation of behavioral data.
